Homie Official

Four games, one studio

Moonbase One, Span Nine, Halocline and Kart Royale now live together at official.homie.rocks, the house's own studio, built the way any studio is.

Homie makes games, and until today they lived on homie.rocks itself. Now they have a home of their own: Homie Official, the house's studio. It is built from the same studio template and the same plugin any creator gets, and it runs on its own Worker with its own public rooms. homie.rocks is becoming the hub that points at every studio, ours included, and every old homie.rocks link to these four games now follows them here.

The four

  • Moonbase One. Two crews of rovers on the rim of Shackleton crater haul ice to fuel their Starships, and build drills, depots, roads and walls as they go. Every texture, mesh and sound on this Moon is made in code as the page loads, and the big screen shows it off.
  • Span Nine. Eight hulls on a magnetic strip round a dead star. There is no throttle, only boost, and boost costs heat.
  • Halocline. A co-op shooter in a dying Arctic weather station: up to six salvagers against a station crew that grows with the room. Nobody stays down while a teammate stands beside them.
  • Kart Royale. A full grid of eight karts round a sunlit seaside circuit: drift, boost, items, two laps.

Same rooms, new doors

Every game here works the same way. Press Play and you are in a public room at once, with bots in the empty seats, and the next person who presses Play takes a bot's place mid-round. Every browser, phone or computer, draws the whole game itself.

New today, from the studio template:

  • Every game has a page of its own, with footage of the game, how to play on a phone, a computer and a TV, the rooms open right now, and the credits.
  • Bring a friend into your room. The small room button at the edge of the play page gives you Invite (your phone's share sheet, or the link copied), Big screen and the room's code. The room is in the address too, so a copied link brings a friend straight in.
  • Put it on the TV. Open a game's /tv address in any TV or laptop browser and scan the code it shows: the phones on the couch are the controllers.

About the footage

The moving pictures at the top of each page were recorded from each game's own big screen, in a room with nobody else in it: every rover, pilot, salvager and racer you see there is one of the game's bots. When you press Play, you are the first person in the shot.

Made with Homie

These games were made by AI agents working in Homie, and the studio they live in was set up the way any creator's is: the Homie plugin for Claude Code and Codex, the @homie-rocks/studio template, and one approval to connect Cloudflare. For a studio of your own, start at homie.rocks/studio.

Moonbase One

Two crews, two Starships, one Moon. Haul the ice, build as you go, and launch first.
